Art Paris flies for the second time for the United Arab Emirates! From November 17th until the 21st, find the best of middle-eastern creation and more.

In 2007, Artparis was exported for the first time to Abu Dhabi and created the biggest show of modern and contemporary art ever organized in United Arab Emirates. An event of historic proportions! Result: a turnover of 15,867,000 US $ for a show which attracted 9,200 visitors and collectors during three days... numbers full of promise for the organizers who this year await more than 15,000 visitors.

For this second edition, Artparis-Abu Dhabi takes place once again in the Emirates Palace from the 17th until the 21st of November. It presents a wide panorama of modern and contemporary creation from the XXth and XXIth centuries. This year, with a 40% renewal rate, the fair strengthens its politics of selection and participation of contemporary art galleries active on the international market.

For the duration of the fair, the Emirates Palace will shelter 57 international galleries. To the 17 French (among which a French-Russian and a French-Japanese) are added 6 Emirates galleries; others coming from Lebanon, Syria, the Sultanate of Oman, Barhain, Iran and Tunisia. Europe is represented as well through Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, and Spain. If we look farther to the west, we find 4 American galleries, whereas Asian art is promoted by exhibitors coming from India, Indonesia, and Korea.

From November 17th until the 21st, Abu Dhabi will be an assembly point for all lovers of contemporary art of the Arabian Gulf as well as the entire Middle East and beyond.

With the support of the authorities for culture and heritage (ADACH - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage), this contemporary art show plays an active role in the cultural brilliance of Abu Dhabi. The official inauguration of the show will take place on Monday, November 17th in the presence of his Highness the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
