Florent Carmin started photography quite young, as a way to have fun with his girl friends...

He left Europe and began working in California. For Florent, his photographic journey is made of sun: throughout his carrier he has worked for many magazines such as Playboy, GQ, and he is no stranger to sensuality with a strong taste for internationally renown ‘babes’ like Pamela Anderson or Anna Nicole Smith.

During this interview done in November of 2007 at a friend’s house in San Diego, we discovered a very simple guy. Florent has kept a simplicity to his work and on the richessness of his carrier. Most of his photos are in the playboy style, indeed this style is pure. Light and make up are important for Florent. He is someone accomplished; a producer of films and videos, and he has collaborated on many television programs about sports like the French Tv Show Ushuaia.

Like many professionals, he doesn't work for fame, but to succeed at doing what he likes. One of the strongest moment of his life was certainly the shoot he had with Pamela Anderson in French Polynesia. With a lot of energy, Florent Carmin reveals the feminity of his models via bikinis, swimsuits or the nude style. As he has told us, when he travels around the world he tries to adapt himself to the sensuality of each of his models.
